Legal Aid

LawThe Legal Aid Agency authorises us to provide those clients who are eligible with Legal Aid (public funding) for cases where Social Services are involved with your family.

This can involve offering advice at our offices and also representation at court.

An assessment of your eligibility for legal aid will be undertaken at your first appointment and you will be told whether you are entitled to legal aid there and then. You will need to show proof of your financial circumstances at your appointment to enable the solicitor to confirm you are entitled to legal aid.

If you would like to have an indication as to whether you would be eligible you can input your details on the Legal Aid Agency's eligibility calculator.
